The app is based on a circle of fiveths, a tuning that has been used for centuries. It shows the chords that are played on a given note for each of the major and minor scales.
For each scale, you can choose the root note, the major and minor scales, and the number of notes that you want to learn. The Circle of Fifths can be used with any instrument, but it is especially useful for the guitar and ukulele.
You can use it as a reference when you play a chord on your instrument.
